For the July challenge our design group had an excellent opportunity to work with Tulip's Beads in a Bottle. It was wonderful to be able to showcase this product using our many different approaches and techniques.
I found a red, satin clutch purse at a local flea market. After embellishing it with vintage buttons, ribbon, and cloth flowers I added pearl red and white Beads in a Bottle. The Beads in a Bottle added immediate accents to the purse. The pearl white really simulates the look and effect of real pearls. The thin tip allows you to apply the product evenly and uniformly. In addition, I was able to apply Beads in a Bottle to the edge of the cloth flowers for added dimension.
This one-of-a-kind, vintage purse is easy to make and I love accessories when it comes to fashion. Because it doesn't matter if your weight fluctuates or that styles come and go, you can always have your choice of purses.
